  • Disinfection equipment has a feature that causes an alarm to sound immediately in the appropriate locations if the disinfection equipment malfunctions, loses power or ceases to provide the appropriate level of disinfection.

  • Ensure that at all times in which it is in service, the small drinking water system is maintained in a fit state of repair.
  • Comply with all sampling, testing, monitoring and reporting requirements under this regulation.

Before supplying water to users of the system following the construction, installation, alteration or extension of a small drinking water system the owner shall notify, in writing, the medical officer of health of the health unit where the small drinking water system is located.
